Katy Yung is a hairstylist that needed a new website to show off her portfolio. Our client needed a cohesive brand identity and a new website redesign that created a beautiful place to display her work.

Katy Yung was in need of UltraMod’s help when they noticed their old website was looking outdated, and did not result in making her work look modern. We helped them design a simple five page website with a minimalist layout and design with strong brand identity, logo, colors and font selection.
- The Task
One of the main goals of the Katy Yung + UltraMod team for their online presence was to translate their product’s popularity and high customer ratings into the the brand’s digital space. Living with the negative business impact brought by constant bugs and outdated appearance of her previous website, Mrs. Yung sought the help of beauty digital design expert UltraMod, with help streamlining the user flow, experience and elevate the brand’s digital appearance.
- The Project
With every client who works with us, we go through a wholistic digital strategy, which helps us determine what new elements need to be added to the service detail pages, to educate visitors on Katy Yung’s service features and benefits. The result is a layout where the costumer can intuitively scroll a side module to view content surrounding the services and learn about Katy without leaving the page. This is also optimized for mobile, so customers can view benefits and services right from their phone.
Katy Yung had previously experienced a lot of visitor drop-off; in order to secure the client engagment, UItraMod integrated a sidebar menu to keep visitors flowing through the website and it's content.
- The Results
We helped our client gain more organic traffic from SEO, more inquiries & conversions from a more user friendly website, and more engagement from their current email list thru beautifully designed and creative email marketing. We also helped with Katy’s social media planning and engagement to gain more followers on their social channels. Once the new site was launched UltraMod transitioned Katy Yung Hair to its Ongoing Service Retainer Program and together have established an aggressive roadmap for innovation including subscriptions, recurring orders, and digital advertising, social media art direction, email marketing and content creation. Once our redesign was complete our changes helped our client see a dramatic increase in organic traffic of over 26% with an excellent conversion rate. The website helped our client also see a significant rise in their social media channels receiving a +357% rise in post engagements coupled with a +179% rise in reach.
